INDIA GOES UP IN THE SERIES WITH 1-0

India beat Srilanka by 21 runs in the first match of the 5 ODI matches.In the high scoring match played yesterday in hambantota.India batted first and scored 314 runs (Virat Kohli 106 & Sehwag 96) but Srilanka just managed to score 293 runs inspite of the inspiring 133 runs of Kumar Sangakara.For India Virendra Sehwag and Virat Kohli put forward the partnership of 173 runs but ih the other hand Srilankan Batsmen give away their wicket to the indian bowler.Irfan Pathan took 2 wickets.

CRICKETING FEVER IN SOUTH ASIA TILL 2020



 International Cricket Council (ICC) released its future tour program for the year 2012 to 2020, place ICC T20 in September 2012. The tournament is schedule to be hosted by Sri Lanka. Another major event Champions League Twenty20 is now officially recognized and have official window in somewhere September to October for all the upcoming years.
As per ICC, the upcoming three ICC WT 20 events will be played in South Asia. The 2012 World Twenty20 will be hosted by Sri Lanka; thereafter Bangladesh will host 2014 World Twenty20 and finally India to host ICC World Twenty20 2016.The Indian Premier League,Bangladesh Premier League will increase the heat of cricket in the south asian sub-continent.Inspired from the indian premier league Bangladesh Premier League on its way to develop cricket all around the world.Most welcomed rule of BPL is that the team most have one associate nation player in the playing set which encourages the associate team player to improve their playing style by playing with top class player in the same team.

SOUTH AFRICA ANNOUNCED T-20 PROVISIONAL SQUAD

South Africa placed in Group c in the t20 world cup along with the host Srilanka and Zimbabwe announced its provisional squad for the t-20 world cup.South Africa is considered to be the unluckiest team in the world cricket as Netherland in the football.South Africa is considered to be one of the top contender for the title but it fails to reach the expectation of fans.
South Africa will take on Zimbabwe on 20th September and the host Srilanka on 22th September.The match against Zimbabwe the super eight position of South Africa so it is crucial for them.

ALL 16 TEAM ANNOUNCE ITS TEAM FOR THE U-19 WORLD CUP

All the 16 team have been now named ahead for the upcoming ICC U-19 World Cup 2012 which will take place in Australia from August 11-26.Australia is the defending champion of the tournament.They won the tournament in Lincoln,New Zealand in 2010 and they are aiming to win the title for the fourth time in the ninth event.Only Pakistan has won the back to back title of the U-19 World Cup in 2004 and 2006 in Bangladesh  and Srilanka.
India have won  the title twice under the captaincy of Mohamamd kaif and Virat Kohli and England are successful to put hands on the trophy once in 1998.

NEPAL ANNOUNCES ITS SQUAD FOR THE WORLD CUP

Cricket Association of Nepal
Nepal announces its squad for the upcoming U-19 world cup ,starting from 11th August in Australia.Under the captaincy of Prithu Baskota 15 members are seelected for the world cup.Pradeep Aerie is the vice-captain of the team and the other members of the team are Rajesh Pulami,Sagar Pun,Naresh Budhayer,Krishna Karki,Abhinash Karna,Fajlur Rahaman,Bhuwan Karki,Hasim Ansari and Suvash Khakurel.

And the other team members are Rahul Biswokarma,Gopal Kumar Singh,Saurav Khanal and Ramnaresh Giri.And the reserve players of the squad are Surendra Chand,Pawan Shrestha,Rupesh Srivastav and Prajesh Bahadur Singh.
Cricket Association of Nepal(CAN) stated that the team coach is Pubudu Dasanayekeand the assistant coach is Jagat Tamata.


Nepal is in group A with the two cricket giants of the world cricket Australia and England along with the Ireland.In this group Nepal is regarded as the weakest opponent but have potential to upsets any of the cricketing nations.Nepal start their world cup campaing playing against mighty Australian in August 13.Nepal will play against Ireland in Aug 15 and with England in Aug 16.

SPAIN THRASHES THE GAINT ITALY WITH THE FANTASTIC FOUR

Spain beat Italy 4-0 in the final of the UEFA EURO 2012.The goals were scored by 4 different players, 2 from the playing eleven and other two from the substitute in each halves.Spain beat the world champion of 2006 Italy quite convinsingly in the onesided match.Spain open the account wiht the thrilling header of David Silva in assist of Cesc Fabregas.Jordi Alba score the second goal for Spain and his 1st goal in the international career for Spain.
Substitute Farnando Torres became the man to score in the two successive finals of the Euro Cup.He scored the winnig goal in the final in 2008 to win the Euro Cup for Spain in 44 years against the mighty Germans.Juan Mata scored the 4th goal for Spain.
And in the final there is the most interesting part of the FANTASTIC FOUR.
1.Spain beat Italy 4-0.
2.The goals were scored by four different players.
3.the three goals were scored in 14',41',84' of the match in which there is the miracle number for spain i.e 4.
4.The fourth goal was scored by Juan Mata who wore the jersy with number 13 which sums up to 4.i.e 1+3=4.

WORLD CUP TWENTY-20 2012

The cricket world cup T-20 is going to be held in Sri Lanka between September 18 and October 7, 2012.12 teams are participating in this tournament.Afganistan and Ireland are the two country which got success in the qualifier .Ireland being the champion of the qualifier is going to Srilanka to face west indies and Australia. Sri Lanka, South Africa and Zimbabwe, and Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh and Afganistan,India and England are the other groups.
From another world cup i.e from 2014 there will be 16 teams participating in this tournament according to the ICC.
